The corrsion resistance and wear resistance of aluminium profile

February 27, 2024

The wear resistance of anodized films and coatings is closely related to their quality and usage, and can reflect the potential ability of the film to resist friction and wear. It is an important performance indicator of anodized films and coatings. The wear resistance of anodized films and coatings mainly depends on the Aluminium construction profiles composition, film thickness, curing conditions of polymer coatings, anodizing conditions, and sealing conditions.

When the anodizing temperature rises abnormally, its impact on the quality of the anodization film can be identified through wear resistance tests.  The purpose of surface treatment for aluminium profile is generally to achieve good decorative and protective properties, therefore corrosion resistance is an important performance indicator for aluminum alloy anodizing and polymer coating products.

The protective performance of anodization films and coatings is affected by factors such as film thickness,pre-treatment processes in production, composition of Aluminum extrusion profile, and properties of high polymer coatings.
